Families Moving Forward

Hope Lutheran Church, in partnership with St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, will host families experiencing homelessness at Hope Lutheran Church. What is Families Moving Forward? This program offers families experiencing homelessness hospitality, emergency shelter and a path to home with support for stability. Volunteers from congregations create shelter space at their congregation sites. In addition to a safe place to sleep and a warm meal, congregational volunteers share kindness and compassion with families experiencing homelessness. Kids of the Kingdom

  Kids of the Kingdom(KOK) starts Sunday, September 23. KOK is our Sunday School program for children from ages 3 through 4th Grade. Programming starts at 10:15 a.m. and ends at 11:00 a.m. downstairs in our Education Area. Parents must drop off and pick up their children downstairs.   REGISTER NOW!!!

Practicing the presence of God: Sunday Worship is at 9 a.m. with a coffee fellowship before at 8:30am and following worship. 2nd Tuesday's of the month ~ Worship with Pastor Steve Thompson at 10:30 am at Oak Terrace Features of our  worship include:  A variety of musical styles in the basic format of the Lutheran liturgy.  Everyone is invited to the Lord’s table each week. Shared Ministry

All members of Hope Lutheran Church have gifts and talents that are valuable to the ministry and mission of our faith community.  We recognize that each member is called to minister and to share leadership. Our Shared Ministry Coordinator helps guide the process in engaging Hope’s members in the ministries within the life of the congregation and surrounding community.
