October 6th Concrete Consolation
Concrete Consolation* (aka communion in your driveway)
What is it: An intimate, brief (about 15 minute) chance to gather for communion and a prayer.
When: Tuesdays at 5:15 pm
Where: In various driveways of people of Hope – today at . . . Jason and Jess Felten’s (check your email for the address)October 6
Bring: A lawn chair to set up at a social distance and a mask to wear.
Please email the office if you would like to be a host site in the future.
*Consolation – “someone or something that comforts or consoles.” Whether your driveway is asphalt or concrete – we will gather to stand on the solid promise that God’s grace is always present. As we celebrate that assurance in communion, please remember that Hope Lutheran is part of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) which practices an “open table.” So even if your neighbor is not Lutheran they are welcome to join us for communion.
