Daily Prayers for Lent

During the Lenten Season we will be having “Daily Prayers for Lent” on Facebook at noon.

These will be submitted prayers or blessings from Hope’s members and friends and recorded by a Hope member or friend for Facebook.

Ways in which you can help:

• Do you have a favorite prayer or blessing you would share with us? Maybe a favorite childhood prayer… Something maybe your grandparent shared with you…
• Are you comfortable praying in front of others and the camera?

My grandma used to faithfully say “God, guide, guard and direct our life and us to thine service. Amen.” I can still see her silver haired bent head, sitting at the table in her ever present apron, with hands clasped in prayer. The only times I remember her without her apron were when she was on her way to Sunday and Wednesday church services! A short little prayer that reminds me of a faithful servant of God.
