Cloaks and Palms, Sunday, March 24

Cloaks and Palms
On March 24, Palm Sunday, we will sing Hosannas and hear the story from the Gospel of Mark of Jesus’ entry to Jerusalem. Mark 11:8-9 tells us “Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields.” We will again spread garments on our center aisle to honor that event in Jesus’ life. On Palm Sunday, please bring new or gently used t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and leggings/yoga pants of any sizes, child through adult, and spread them on our center aisle. The clothing will be donated to needy people through His House Foundation in Excelsior.
