What About. . . .? Have you ever had the thought; “what about. . .?” Well, I know that I have, scripture tells us over and over again to ask the question. And yet there’s something that feels like we shouldn’t ask, or doubt, or question. Golden Fellowship Returns

Golden Fellowship We're thrilled to announce that Golden Fellowship is making its grand return on September 18th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm! This is a wonderful opportunity to come together for a thoughtful devotion, uplifting music, a light lunch, and, most importantly,  fellowship that warms the heart. Heimatfest Parade and Taco Stand

We have a wonderful opportunity to share Hope Lutheran with the rest of Jordan! Our theme is: Catch us at 9 am on Sundays. We will have a "float", rather a boat, in the parade and pass out fish crackers, tattoos, and flyers. Walkers are welcome! Sign up HERE. Choirs at Hope – Starting up soon!

  Let your light shine! Sing in a choir at Hope! Grades 1-4 -Praise Choir Wednesdays, 6:30-7:10 pm Begins September 11 Grades 5-8 - 5-8 Choir Wednesdays, 5:45-6:15 pm Begins September 11 Both choirs will sing on the 2nd Sunday of each month, October through May. Grade 9 - Adult - Worship Choir Wednesdays 7:30-8:30 pm Begins August 28 The Worship Choir sings 3 Sundays per month September through May.

FISH Meeting, August 8

Everyone is welcome to attend FISH meetings that are held on the second Thursday of every month. The location varies, but will be somewhere within the Scott County area. FISH stands for Families and Individuals Sharing Hope, which is a network of groups partnering together to meet human needs. There are four categories of groups: Faith, Business, Service/Non-profits/, and Local Government. When registered FISH Partners encounter needs that they themselves cannot fill, they can post the need of the individual or family on the FISH Network. Women’s Breakfast

Women’s Breakfast on August 17; 8:00 am at The Feed Mill Rise and shine, ladies! Our Women's Breakfast Group will meet on August 17th at The Feed Mill restaurant in Jordan. This is a monthly event that will be taking place every 3rd Saturday. We would love for you to join us and bring along any friends who might be interested in attending. It's a wonderful opportunity to catch up with other members, enjoy delicious food, and share fellowship time together.

School Supply Drive in August

School Supply Drive in August We are currently collecting school supplies for students in the Jordan school district. A purple collection container is located in the narthex at Hope. Items most needed include: Dry Storage Snacks (granola bars, popcorn, crackers, etc.), Backpacks, Reusable Water Bottles, Ear Buds, Pencil Pouches, Pencils, Single Subject Notebooks, 3-Subject Notebooks, Folders (plastic poly), Scissors, TI-30x II Calculators, Dry Erase Markers, Deodorant (travel size). Deadline for donations is September 1st.
