June 2 Concrete Consolation*

The June 2 Concrete Consolation will be at the home of Jason & Jess Felten. Their address is 848 Stone Creek Dr. Bring a lawn chair to set up. *Consolation - "someone or something that comforts or consoles." Whether your driveway is asphalt or concrete - we will gather to stand on the solid promise that God's grace is always present. As we celebrate that assurance in communion, please remember that Hope Lutheran is part of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) which practices an "open table." So even if your neighbor is not Lutheran they are welcome to join us for communion.

May 16th, In-Person Worship Begins!!

May 16 we will be opening up the church for In-Person Worship! We are asking at this time for people to preregister and check in at the front door with the Greeter. We would prefer that everyone continue to wear masks for the safety of those that have not yet been vaccinated. Tuesday, May 4 Discussion

Tuesday, May 4 at 6:30 p.m. come join the Seekers for a reading of the children’s book, Unspeakable: The Tulsa Massacre. Next month marks the one-hundred-year anniversary of what has been called “the single worst incident of racial violence in American history” in the Greenwood district (also formerly called Black Wall Street). It was covered up for 75 years but more recently schools and churches are playing a role in making sure it does not happen again. Come join the discussion. on zoom. The Seekers is a new group that meets the first Monday of the month.  They are seeking racial justice, understanding, and reconciliation.

Lawnmowing Schedule

Hope’s Trustees are looking to our members to pitch in and help mow the grounds at Hope. You will need your own equipment, usually a push mower and a riding mower, to get the work done.  Lawn mowing can happen any day of the week, it's your choice!! Click on this LINK to sign up!
