Lenten Suppers

It is that time of year again ~ time for Lenten Suppers!! We will start things off with our Potato Bar on Ash Wednesday, which is March 2 at 6:00 pm. This is a Mission Trip Fundraiser for those youth going on the Mission Trip to Milwaukee this summer. They will help to set up, serve and clean up our meal with congregational help. Soup Suppers begin the following week and there are a few changes. *Instead of being assigned a Wednesday to help we are asking for volunteer help either by signing up to serve, clean up or bring choice of bread, milk, or cookies. Our 2nd Graders learned all about the 10 Commandments at their retreat on February 12th.

Silent Auction

Get ready for our Silent Auction starting Ash Wednesday which is March 2nd.We are accepting donations. Think about the GIFTS YOU HAVE TO SHARE ~ what skills do you have that others may want? Sledding Party Cancelled

Due to the severely cold weather on Saturday we have cancelled the Sledding Party. Sorry for the disappointing news!

Youth Service Night

Our youth boxed up care packages for our college students and also made blankets for the Linus Project. They had a blast!

February 2 Fellowship Event

The Fleshpots of Egypt IN CONCERT ~ here at HOPE LUTHERAN! The Fleshpots of Egypt, a Bluegrass/Rockabilly band that Pastor Steve has played with for many years, will be playing for our February concert on Wednesday, Feb. 2nd. These guys are all pastors who specialize in favorite old hymns. Rolf Jacobson, a professor of the Old Testament at Luther Seminary, will share his story of surviving cancer as a teenager. He will teach us a good way to help someone else going through something similar. ALL ARE WELCOME!! Hymn singing starts at 6:15 p.m. The concert event starts at 6:45 p.m.

Annual Celebration~ January 30, 2022

We are having our Annual Celebration January 30th! Join us as we celebrate the various ministries of Hope Lutheran and conduct a little business. The Annual Report, the Proposed Budget for 2022 and Slate of Candidates can all be found here on the website. Go to the "Who We Are" heading, click on it, and then click on the publications tab and you will find them all listed.

February Sledding Party!

February 12th at 11 am we will have a Sledding Party here on the grounds at Hope Lutheran! Hot Cocoa and fixing for s'mores will be available and we will have a fire pit or two to help keep you warm!

January Happenings

January 9th ~5th Graders help lead worship! We will also un-decorate the church after worship. January 16th ~ Children's Choirs will sing, Travis from Green Lake Bible Camp will be here to talk about CAMP, and Ryan Doheny will train those who want to learn how to use the AED machine. January 23rd ~ Pulpit Pastor January 30th ~ Celebration of Hope's Ministries!
