September 17, Mille Lacs Launch

The Board of Deacons are planning a Mille Lacs Launch for Saturday, September 17th and this fishing trip is open to anyone wanting to fish or just spend the day out on the water in the company of those who do! The launch service and overall cost are not determined yet as that will depend on the amount of people who sign up. A rough estimate is around $45 per person (fishing or riding cost the same). We plan to carpool and arrive 30+ minutes prior to the launch. The sign up will close in late July so reservations can be made for the launch. It is almost time for the Scott County Fair and you know what that means ~ it's TACO STAND time! This is a great fundraiser for the church, but it takes many hands to make it a success. Mission Trip Fundraiser ~ THURSDAY, June 30th at the New Prague Pizza Ranch Like Pizza?? The Hope Lutheran Church Mission Trip has an opportunity to earn money for their trip to Milwaukee, Wi. this summer! Come out and enjoy some tasty pizza and help us earn the money needed to make our trip a success! We will earn 10% of all dine-in and carry out sales this night as well as ALL TIPS placed in our tip jars! Please invite your friends, family, and neighbors to come enjoy some YUMMY pizza with us at the New Prague Pizza Ranch on THURSDAY, June 30th from 5-7:30 p.m.

Bowl Over Hunger

Demand is high and our local food shelf is running low so we are having a bowling fundraiser ~ Bowl Over Hunger! Have fun and fellowship while supporting a great cause. Money paid for bowling by the Hope bowling participants will go to the Jordan Area Food Shelf. When: Saturday, June 11, arrive by 12:45 for a 1:00 pm start. Where: Borough Bowl, 235 Ash Street, Belle Plaine, MN, 952-873-2204 Details: 1 hour of bowling, Cost $9.00 per person, 5 bowlers per lane.

Vacation Bible School at Hope Lutheran We are so excited to go on a Rocky Railway adventure this summer!!! VBS will be held August 1st-4th from 9 a.m.-noon at Hope Lutheran Church. Registration for VBS is now open. Volunteers are vital to making VBS a success! We are always blessed to have wonderful help, and those who volunteer always leave the week feeling blessed and uplifted!!! If someone in your family is interested in volunteering make sure to click the YES option for volunteering found on the registration form.
