Our Call Committee

The work of our Call Committee is well underway. The focus of the first few meetings has centered on the interview process and questions for candidates. A synod representative will be attneding this week's meeting for additional guidance on the overall call process and will bring the names of the first few candidates. Feedback from the congregation that was gathered by the Transition Team will help measute a candidate's potential fit for our congregation's future. Congregation Information on Youth Scholarships and Camp

2023 Youth Scholarships available! We wanted to remind our families that we have youth scholarship funds available to all members of our congregation. Youth scholarships can be used towards any faith-based event. At Hope Lutheran Church it is our policy that money should not prevent students from participating in our ministries or any off site faith based activities (bible camp, mission trips, etc.). In order to receive funding, a completed Scholarship form must be filled out and returned to the office before the registration date of the event. All forms are kept confidential. April 23rd ~ Save the Date!

During this meeting, information from our MSP (Ministry Site Profile) will be shared and questions will be answered. All-Synod Worship, April 28th

A Festive All-Synod Worship Service will be held 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 28. Bishop Ann Svennungsen will be preaching and Dr. Phillip Schoultz, associate artistic director of VocalEssence and cantor at Westwood Lutheran, will lead the music for worship, as well as conduct the Synod-Wide Volunteer Choir. A light reception will follow the worship service, which will be held at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 13600 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie. April 4, 2023 Dear Members of Hope, A little over a year ago, Pastor Steve shared that he was resigning from his pastoral position at Hope Lutheran Church. Pastor Ted began his interim role in June, and he has helped the Transition Team create a Ministry Site Profile (MSP) for our congregation. Our MSP is nearly finished, and we are ready to begin the next step of the call process: the work of the Call Committee.
