There is plenty of time to sign up for the Chili Cook Off on November 19th! Click here to sign up! Calling all Chili Makers ~ Our Deacons are putting on a Chili Cook Off ++ November 19th ~ following worship++ Sign up to let us know if you will make a pot of Chili. If you don't make chili, you can sign up to bring something to round out our meal ~ like crackers, cornbread, bread, veggies, dessert or milk. November 26th ~ Decorate the Church!

Join us November 26th as we decorate Hope Lutheran for Christmas! Directly after worship. There will be lost of things to do ~ several trees to decorate, wreaths to put up, garland to hang, the nativity scene to put together. and more. The more the merrier!!

16th Year of Operation Christmas Child!

This past week, H2H and Kids of the Kingdom kids packed 158 shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child!!  We are so proud of their serving hearts.A big THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the event and volunteered their time and energy to make this such a wonderful success for the 16th year at Hope Lutheran!

We had a beautiful service on Sunday for Pastor Matt's Installation! Afterwards we celebrated with an old fashioned PotLuck ~ tremendous food and wonderful fellowship!

Pastor Matt’s Installation

Pastor Matt's Installation will be held during our church service on Sunday, November 5th. Pastor Craig Pederson, Assistant to the Biship (Minneapolis Area Synod ELCA), will be with us on that day to officially welcome Pastor Matt into his new role at Hope Lutheran Church, Jordan MN. Two New Opportunities to Connect

We have two new ways in which you can connect with others ~ Bunco and a new group, as yet un-named. ~ Bunco started October 22 and meeets again November 19, following the Chili Cook Off. Bunco will meet once a month. $5 ante, winner gives jackpot to charity of their choice. Bring a snack to share and your own beverage. ~ New Group ~ will meet for the first time November 17 from 1:30-3:30 pm to play games. Cribbage, Thirty One, Crazy Eights, Mexican Train, etc. All ideas are welcome! This group will continue to meet on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month.

Calling Artists and Crafters of Hope Lutheran Church, Jordan MN~ We are seeking donations of handmade crafts and artwork to sell at a table during our Craft & Vendor Fair on Nov 4th, 9 am-3 pm. Donations of art and craft items such as knitted, crocheted, cross stitched and quilted works, metalwork, handmade jewelry, sewn or embroidered items, and watercolor. All proceeds from the sale of these items will go to Hope’s youth programs. Donations may be dropped off at the Hope office during regular office hours
