June 28, 2023 Dear Members of Hope, Exciting things are happening at our church! We will be having a special Congregational Meeting after church on July 9th to address our parking lot needs. July 27, 2023 Good Afternoon, Hope’s Call Committee has joyfully and unanimously voted to make a candidate recommendation to the council. The Call Committee will introduce the candidate to the Council this week. If the Council approves our recommendation, the Council will set a date for a congregational meeting when the candidate will be introduced and a vote taken to formally call the candidate. Thank you! Vacation Bible School at Hope Lutheran ~ July 31st - August 3rd Join us for a Monumental adventure this summer! Through exploring God's awesomeness, kids will form a rock-solid faith for the road ahead. VBS will be held July 31st - August 3rd from 9 a.m. to noon at Hope Lutheran Church. Registration for VBS is now open. Volunteers are vital to making VBS a success!  We are always blessed to have wonderful help, and those who volunteer leave the week feeling blessed and uplifted from witnessing the joy the children experience learning about God's love.  If someone in your family is interested in volunteering make sure to check the YES  option for ...

Our 50th Celebration Committee has been hard at work planning the Celebration on September 10th! ~ We will be having a catered meal from Annie's Catering in Belle Plaine. ~A Bouncy House has been ordered and fun activities for both children and adults are in the planning stages! ~Our commemorative mugs have arrived! Just $5.00 a mug!

Our Call Committee

The work of our Call Committee is well underway. The focus of the first few meetings has centered on the interview process and questions for candidates. A synod representative will be attneding this week's meeting for additional guidance on the overall call process and will bring the names of the first few candidates. Feedback from the congregation that was gathered by the Transition Team will help measute a candidate's potential fit for our congregation's future. Congregation Information on Youth Scholarships and Camp

2023 Youth Scholarships available! We wanted to remind our families that we have youth scholarship funds available to all members of our congregation. Youth scholarships can be used towards any faith-based event. At Hope Lutheran Church it is our policy that money should not prevent students from participating in our ministries or any off site faith based activities (bible camp, mission trips, etc.). In order to receive funding, a completed Scholarship form must be filled out and returned to the office before the registration date of the event. All forms are kept confidential.
