FISH Meeting, August 8

Everyone is welcome to attend FISH meetings that are held on the second Thursday of every month. The location varies, but will be somewhere within the Scott County area.

FISH stands for Families and Individuals Sharing Hope, which is a network of groups partnering together to meet human needs. There are four categories of groups: Faith, Business, Service/Non-profits/, and Local Government.

When registered FISH Partners encounter needs that they themselves cannot fill, they can post the need of the individual or family on the FISH Network. Once approved by FISH, registered partners can give back by reviewing and determining whether to fill the posted need. There are no fees or costs to the partner organization. Hope Lutheran Church is a FISH Partner.
